Please check out Bianca Graulau's story about Oaxaca. I don't recommend visiting there with everything going on with the mistreatment of the native people there, all to accommodate tourists. The money they gain from tourism doesn't even go to help the citizens there. Instead, tourism only hurts the native communities there.
You guys!! I remember when you were at the one in Turkey. Your enthusiasm hasn’t changed a bit. It is nice that this time in Mexico, being your second time in the country, is a road trip including EVIE! What amazing sites! Thanks for taking me with!
Awe that’s so cool! Those videos go way back and it’s so great to have someone here who’s enjoyed them from the beginning. Glad to know our enthusiasm hasn’t changed too! We are still so excited to explore wherever we go and I don’t think that will ever change 😊 thanks for being part of our journey! 🥹
Great video and the scenes from Hierve del agua is insane 19:39 I recently spent 2 weeks in Oaxaca and Hierve el agua was one of my favorite places. I’ve been vlogging my journey through Mexico for the last couple months and it was super cool to see Oaxaca. Glad you liked it enough to go back. I am also going back too in a few months haha
Glad you enjoyed! Hierve El Agua was so cool! We would love to revisit it and Oaxaca all over again too. The food was great and we couldn’t get enough of it
@@nicoleandmico It was so cool. I would absolutely go back next time I’m in Oaxaca. Yes, I could not get enough of the delicious food in Oaxaca. Some of the best in Mexico
You know, you can change the radio in your car so it has bluetooth, CarPlay, and ability to play music from USB drives. 😊. I did that with my 2003 Subaru Outback which originally came with a CD player when I bought the car brand new. Anyway, I enjoyed your video as always. Terrific presentation and love the joyful energy both of you have.
Yes we actually considered that upgrade when we were back in Canada. However we wanted to make the car as stealth as possible and we didn’t want anyone looking inside to see anything of value so ultimately we decided against it. Thanks for the suggestion though. We certainly do miss having a more modern radio and nav setup haha 😂 thanks for watching 😊
Hey, kids! Nice overview of Oaxaca de Juárez. The place where you stayed, hosted on AirBnB is titled "Bright studio with mountain view and 500 Mbps" and if you click on the host, Marcos, you will see his mezcal listing and two other properties. Your video has prompted my wife and I to consider a visit, since Europe is so expensive and crowded.
Yeah he was such a fantastic host! Highly recommend his place and yes, it was indeed 500 mbps of internet. That’s cool you’re considering Oaxaca as a future destination. We loved it and can’t wait to go back and explore again ☺️
Thanks so much! We can’t remember what the name was but it said it had 500mbps of internet in the title. Also the host’s name was Marcos and he was great!
Ahhh, we are in Santa Maria del Tule for the summer right now and taking it slow. Hope you get to come check out the giant tree here. This is a cute little town.
They have pet stores in Los Angeles Ca. People call them Swap Meets. They have them all over LA get it out lots of them in South LA, East LA , City of commerce city of North Hollywood. And Padorama City , Compton Check it out next time you guys are in Los Angeles . Oh yeah at alley's near the fashion district.
Do not spend money in Oaxaca until workers start getting paid a fair wage. Water is cut off to the small outposts where workers live and transit 3+ hours in order to supply to $1000/night hotels for tourists
So sad how tourism has destroyed this town for the people who live there. They have water only twice a week and they are paid so poorly despite the money the resorts make. Maybe you should organize a group to go there and protest for fairer conditions for the people who live there. That would be worthy of making the money the money from RUclips instead is becoming part of the problem. 🤔
go away tourists. This type of tourism is making life impossible for locals. If you're gonna post, get informed about the social and environmental problems that tourism is causing here. Have you notice that everyone in the city has limited water? did your airbnb limited the use of water to you or at least recommended to use it wisely? People is suffering here, the reality is contrary to what you show here all pretty stuff.
I love your videos, keep going!
There's no water in Oaxaca, water is trucked into the hotels and resorts from communities outside Oaxaca, members of the communities have to compete for water with the hotels. The majority of the city only has water a few hours a day, a few days a week or they are forced to buy water. Locals have to commute sometimes several hours each way due to dramatic increases in housing costs in the city, an employee in one of the hotels earns $75-$100 a week and can not afford to live in Oaxaca because wealthy Mexican investors (one a particular family) are exploiting Oaxaca. Journalists are now being punished for reporting on these matters in Mexico and the US. Nicole and Mico have no business not telling you the truth about places they visit and the problems locals face having to deal with tourists and tourism. In general tourist are not well liked and are only tolerated because of the vast sums of money they spend. BTW, I have some advice, 'never vacation in a third world country'.
See the natives dying of thirst while your hotels pay to pump out the local aquifers. Oaxaca is suffering drought, and is in the future killer heat belt of global warming. Do not worry about that, spend the money, burn the jet fuel, waste the water, human civilization is short.
With all respect, your husband looks a lot like Erasmo Catarino, the winner of a music contest similar to American Idol. And this confirms my theory that indigenous people have Asian Ancestry. I am 100% indigenous and everyone has always mistaken me for Malaysian, Indonesian, Philippine, or Thai. Because of my very brown skin no one has ever mistaken me for Korean, Japanese or Chinese but everyone thinks I come from where the brown skinned Asians are from. And also tons have told me if I am Hawaiian or a Native American. So, I think there’s so missing part of the story that nobody has told us and the truth is that way before the European conquest in the Americas, Asians and Black people had inhabited these lands previously already. Proof of my theory is the Olmecs which is one of the most impressive ancient civilizations that inhabited the Americas way before the Europeans arrived and they got African features. If you mix a black person and an Asian the result is me. Someone that looks like a Native American / Indigenous . But of course, the real story was manipulated to make us think other story that just doesn’t fit.

I already have, I agree with you 👍.
I've seen it! Super tragic
This is almost everywhere.
Hitler liked how we resolved our indigenous problem in the US

What was the water temperature in those pools? Looks gorgeous!
It was warm but not hot. Just enough to refresh us since it was so hot in the sun. No shade at all so it was nice to take a dip 😋

You should always eat at the BUSY market stalls, never the non busy ones. If its good, and higenic, it will be packed.
Yes we always do 😊
I like watching your vidéos ❤In Pamukkale , there is these natural travertines, but there I believe they are man made.
We loved Pamukkale and would love to head back one day! The pools here were great, man made or natural. They had such a great view!
